HISTORY OF DMPI ECCC

• Organized on Nov. 6, 1963 by fifteen (15) noble minded employees of Philippine Packing Corporation (now Del Monte Philippines, Incorporated).
• Started with only 75 members including the 15 incorporators.
• 1^st President was Mr. Albert Ebio Walter.
• Started only with an initial capital of Php 10,050 from a contribution of Php 134 per member.
• 1^st significant growth in membership and its financial conditions were felt only after 9 years of existence.
• Asset has grown to almost Php 330 M after 50 years of existence.
