Empowered by its Vision and Mission, a profound concern for the environment, as well as a firm commitment to the cooperative movement, the officers and staff of DMPI-ECCC’s has participated in TREE PLANTING activity last October 14, 2017 at Indahag area. This has been considered a significant contribution of the group to environmental protection and mitigation against climate change.  Further, this activity was aimed at emphasizing the cooperative’s responsibility in collectively creating wealth through sustainable practices like tree planting.  After all, trees help produce clean air by decreasing the levels of pollution, as well as preventing land erosion, the impact of storms.  They likewise provide shelter to wildlife and income-generating food and even medicine.  Trees are more than just part of the environment, they are worthwhile investment.
